Airport:
San Antonio International Airport is approximately eight miles or 15 minutes from the downtown Riverwalk area/convention hotels. Airport general information number: 210-207-3411. www.sanantonio.gov/Aviation/default.asp.
Airline:
American Airlines is pleased to offer the following:
- 5% discount on American Airlines, American Eagle, American Connection, and all oneworld® Alliance Partners.
- The discount can be booked online at www.aa.com. You must include the code 3911AE in the promotion box (under the "Book Flights" tab) to automatically calculate your discount. Discount is valid for travel January 11 – 21, 2011. (There is no service fee on www.aa.com.)
- To book by phone, call American Airlines Meeting Services Desk at 1-800-433-1790 from anywhere in the US or Canada, 5:00 a.m.-12:00 a.m. CST seven days a week. Don’t forget to use your discount code, 3911AE. (There is a $20 service fee for tickets issued through this desk.)
Airport Shuttle Service:
Airport Express Shuttle is San Antonio International Airport’s official shuttle with continuous service to downtown hotels. Shuttles depart every 15 minutes daily from 7 a.m. until 1:30 a.m. Passengers may purchase tickets at the airport’s baggage claim area. Rates are $18 per person ($17 if you book online), or $32 for a round-trip ticket. Major credit cards are accepted. You can make reservations online or call 210-281-9900.

Traveling from the airport: Take Highway 281 South to the Durango exit. Exit on Durango and turn right on Durango to Alamo Street. Turn right on Alamo to Market Street. At Market Street turn right and precede in front of the Convention Center to Bowie Street – near the Convention Center and the convention hotels.

Trolley System:
San Antonio has an extensive trolley system, making downtown travel a breeze on the VIA Trolley. Information can be found on kiosks conveniently located on major street routes. For just $1.10 per ride, or $4 for a one-day pass, you can get just about anywhere in the downtown area.
